To be perfectly fair, he should be far more wary and far more guarded with everything. And yet he doesn't feel like he has any reason to be doing any of that, having long since forgotten the consequences of his actions. Or, well, what would have been the consequences of them if he'd been back home. But here is not there and he's fairly safe in that regard and far more comfortable with the not remotely subtle flirting moments mixed in with just pure idiocy.
