[Luckily he's quick to move from where he might have been slight anxiety digging during this time and absolutely just passing it off as pooka instincts nonsense. And going to perch on the edge of one of the beds, resisting the urge to tap his foot.]

[Surprisingly, today Tsukikage hadn't been making swords out of anxiety. He had promised Sonic his own blade and he had a custom order for Leonardo. For the last few days he had been meticulously hammering and shaping the various grades of steel. Honestly, he just wants to keep working on his wielding. It's easier than... thinking about other things.

However, as much as he wants to get the job done and avoid the confrontation, he knows it needs to be done. The ninja cleans the soot off his body and emerges, pristine as ever, and nods to Speedwagon.]

You seemed troubled. [He says, as if he's not the cause of all of this. ]

[Unfortunate that he's pristine while there's bits of dirt here and there mixed in with his golden fur. He tried to get... most of it off, at least, but some just will not come off without a good shower or something of that sort.

He almost jolts on his spot, though his expression slides into a small smile, genuine, if not a tiny bit anxious still. He's not wrong about his being troubled, his mind having wandered to the worst of places as he's tend to do sometimes.]

Is it that obvious? [Of course it is, Speedwagon's emotions always stay on his sleeve no matter what he does.] Perhaps it is merely my mind playing games with me or jumping to conclusions, but I just wanted to see where things... stand, I suppose? [Perhaps he should be a little more forward.] I merely do not want to accidentally push past your boundaries again if I can help it, because it's certainly not my intention.

Where things stand? [Tsukikage blinks, confused. He thought that this conversation would steer a completely different direction.] I told you that I do not like my mask removed without sufficient warning. That is really the only boundary. Elsewise, things are fine, are they not? I thought we are still dating in the romantic sense.

[That isn't really what he means and he's blinking slowly before setting his hat to the side and running a hand through his hair with a nervous laugh.]

Yes, that's true. I mean if and when and if they could go further. Things were rather whirlwind during my time and I merely want to gauge where and where not I should push things. If that makes sense?

Oh, that makes sense. I apologise. I guess the topic never came up. [He supposes there's never been a chance to talk about these things, what with grotesque monster transformations and running the Hill House. Tsukikage shuffles closer and seats himself on the bed. He sighs.]

[Luckily he's the type that adjusted pretty well to all of this. Personality means far more to him that appearance does to begin with.

He shifts a bit to lean against his side with a hum, the anxiety seeming to have faded finally.

[Same with Tsukikage. It was more that the thrum of day to day life and transformations got in the way of talking about relationships. Oh well, better late than never to have it, right?

Tsukikage smiles as Speedwagon leans against him and chuckles.]

[Oh, that was... Far simpler than he expected and he's looking away with a light huff to hide the red climbing to his cheeks.

[It really was. Tsukikage had though Speedwagon would have been more... confrontational. He imagined he would have been asked about his whole 'face thing' and asked to explain himself: why had he been so tense? So panicked? Was everything okay?

Perhaps it is a little ridiculous. Perhaps there's something more deeply rooted in there for the both of them.]

Tsukikage chuckles again, unable to help himself at his boyfriend's little antics, and absent-mindedly twirls his fingers through Speedwagon's fur. He looks down at him and smirks with his eyes.]

Never mind the press. Tell Reira-dono. She is the one who needs to hear that news. Then again, if you do go, I simply will have to go back to work.

[It's truly his decision at the end of the day and he will respect those secrets. While he might be curious, he certainly won't be pushy about it.

Mere touch should not turn him into putty like this, but it absolutely is considering he's happy to lean into his touch with a pleased little sigh.]

Then I suppose I am stuck here until told otherwise, hm?~ Luckily I have nowhere to go any time soon and I am rather comfortable right here. [He could think of some other things, but he's having fun acting a fool for now.]

[Speedwagon's content expression reminds him of Choctorte when the cat decides not to be a little shit and lets Tsukikage pick him up. How adorable. Tsukikage can't help but give Speedwagon a few scritches, letting himself be lost in the gentle touch.]

You are your own boss. You can decide to go when you want to. I am quite happy where you are though.

[He's a simple man with simple pleasures and needs. Even if it's being scritched and happily leaning as far into him as physically possible.]

Mm, are you? [Give him a second, animal brain is rather in the forefront here.]

I do have to wonder for how long I can keep the attention of a spidery ninja. [What can he possibly get away with this time, really.]

[Scritches are good. Tsukikage is more than happy to gently run his long nails against Speedwagon's scalp like the good rabbit he is. He absolutely doesn't want to give him a second, continuing to enjoy the other man's close proximity.]

I have never been the distracted type. I imagine you do not have to try too hard, Speedwagon. You are a very interesting character.

[Nor will he ever complain about the attention, shifting every so often to get his nails to a part of his scalp that is just right and has his normally alert ears falling to be far more relaxed.]

I tend to hear that a lot. [It's a bit of a joke, even while gently headbutting into his hand.] Though I am quite the curious one if you'd indulge me in that.

[It's like having a giant hare for a boyfriend, or at least what Tsukikage imagine having a pet rabbit would be like. It's still very cute though.]

[He cannot help but laugh at this, not mocking, but genuinely amused at the whole thing. It doesn't help, probably, that he's trying to steal little kisses on whatever exposed skin he can find.]

[His forehead, his eyes, his cheeks, his ears... all those regions are visible, and now red because of Speedwagon's kisses. Even if he's happy with it, he gets embarrassed. Even if he's okay with sex, he turns and stares at Speedwagon in disbelief.]
