That's all I can ask for. It's hard to strike against her, especially here. Your commitment is more than enough.

The numbers of our members has dropped with passing months. But if you say that there are people who want to take her down, I should try meet these people. See what they want. Get an idea of our numbers.

I primarily deal in subterfuge but we will need good fighters. After all, rebellion will not be bloodless. Her priests will definitely fight tooth and nail for her.

I understand. I would imagine it is difficult to keep such a movement going, with recruits vanishing and being replaced by others all the time. I know of several. One who seems eager to take a leading role, and has already offered me a position with her. I had assumed she is part of your organization. Angela? You know already that Majima Goro sent me to you, and Obi Wan Kenobi shares our stance on the protection of humans though I don't know if he wants to fight.

Majima Goro warned me on my first day here that the Fog God's worshippers are dangerous to monsters, too. I have been cautious around them.

It truly is. We took a huge shift hit in February in particular. With my children, it's been hard to get organised.

These are very good people. I'm acquainted with all of them. I'll look into their interests further, especially Obi-wan's. Thank you.

You are wise to be cautious. I have not met a single priest that couldn't take on a small army on their own when they're at full strength. But they get their power from the Fog- so I imagine if we cripple her, they'll be easier to manage.

I was lucky to meet these people right away. The indifference or delight many show at their changes and killing urges is infuriating.

How does that work, is their curse intensified compared to ours? There is one Fog worshipper who has offered to meet with me, to sell me a map and show me the graveyard with the memorial of the monsters who have left. Someone named Judai. I'm interested in what they have to offer but I'm not sure if they want to help me or eat me.

I take in children if they do not have a place to go. At present, I have three under twelve in my care. I'm the only one above twenty in my household.

I pity the indifferent ones. People get desensitised by killing and changes too quickly. Acceptance lets the more vocal ones get away with their crimes.

From my understanding, it's a 'gift'. A power bestowed on the Follower depending on how loyal they are. The more extravagant the display, the more power they can inherit.

I had Judai in my house once. I didn't get to talk to him because I was busy cooking but some of the kids and old residents of my home did. Reira-dono and Sora said he was stupid but kind. Unfortunately, I can't offer much information more than that.

I doubt he wants to eat you though. I don't think I've ever heard of a priest feeding on a newcomer and especially without reason.

It is very kind of you to provide for orphans. You do good for your community. Does the Fog God bring children, too, or are they all local?

There can be no acceptance or indifference to the things we are forced to do. I have fought in war before. I'm a leader of my people, who have to speak judgment. I don't shy away from killing when it is necessary but this here is killing for the entertainment of a malicious being. This Fog God may be powerful but that doesn't mean we should submit to her whims.

So the Fog's priests have special powers. That makes sense. If you fight a war, you want your lieutenants to be strong.

These are all children who the Fog brings. I'd like to take in locals but I think they're safer off with the authorities in Bavan. I'm good friends with the orphanages around there.

I agree. I have commitments until August but I'm researching into an artefact that may help us. I'll let you know if anything develops from that.

They can be weakened but not consistently or reliably. If you meet with one, administer caution regardless of how friendly they are.

Thank you. I will be careful. I understand they would be friendly but evil often comes with a friendly face while it tries to lure you onto its side.

Please keep me informed if you make progress. I'm trying to settle in right now and learn as much as I can about this place, and relearn fighting without my powers which the Fog God stole from me. I will see if I find others who oppose the Fog God and her followers. There must be more of us who see preying on people for the wrong it is.

Thank you. I bought a sword recently but I will have need of more well-crafted weapons. Depending on my transformation, I might need something suited to my changed body. When you are less busy with your projects, maybe we could meet up and speak about swords.
