Yes, we do. Perhaps not true sisters, as borne of flesh, but the Fog referred to them as her siblings. Texts also state the same thing.

The story of their deaths are curious. The papers we found had come to the conclusion that the Day and Night gods have been killed, and likely by the Fog herself. Some old tales point to the idea that the Fog has lost her Heart, somehow. But there's still conflicting information that makes it hard to come to a conclusion.

The Day God had some influence. Actually, they may still in a minor way. The parasite clan in Kulen have a sort of ouija board that communicates with a 'friend' that. It can only answer yes or no questions though... and we could only ask it one question at the time.

I hadn't been willing to consider yet that the Fog God could be an actual god. I only thought of her as a powerful evil entity, like a demon that has been left alone to grow in power for far too long.

It could be one and the same. The rules in Ryslig are not the same as our home. We should expect the worst.

That's what I'm banking on. The Fog can be killed. She can have her power stolen too. Elias did it and the Freedom Fellowship did it once.

What did you do to steal her power?

I know it will take time. I have fought in wars before. It is just hard. There is so much waiting to this war. The war may not be shorter but it feels shorter when you go from skirmish to skirmish.

We recovered a typewriter that supposedly belonged to the Night God. We wanted answers but instead it carved a ritual out into my arm. We performed the ritual and we managed to stop the Fog God from bringing in newcomers.

However, the ritual can't be performed again. And on repeat uses of the typewriter...

The typewriter was found in the possession of a collector. There may be some around the city too that haven't been recognised as relics. So there's a lot of ground to cover. I'd appreciate you keeping an ear out if possible.

I will. I'm still new to this world and will have less contacts than you do in Bavan but I might be able to contribute something of worth during my travels.

We do need to meet up in person finally when I'm back, both to talk about the swords and more important matters. I chose it but it can be difficult at times to live far away from most of my allies.

Could you work on the bow and arrows in the meantime, suitable for a 9-year-old girl?

It is alright. I live near Lake Dala so I understand how you feel. Commute can be troubling at times. If it's more convenient, you can come over or we can meet at the Typhoon Theatre.
