[True to his word, Tsukikage is there within twenty minutes, an impressive speed when incorporating the distance and any obstacles in the way. The man has never been in the Silver Moon Bar itself before, but he's passed it on the way to work and he's talked to Kaito a few times in front of it, so it still is a familiar place.

The residents of the bar don't care for his age, so the spider slips in, closing his eyes so the other six can gingerly get accustomed to the new lighting. When he opens his main eyes, he looks around for Light, wondering if he was already here.]

[Though Light doesn't work here as often as he once had - he had another job now, one that at least allowed for flexible hours - he's put his time in as an employee and knows the bar well.

When Tsukikage slips in, Light stands and raises a hand in beckon. At 5'10, he doesn't stand out as much as he would have at home, but he's still fairly tall, and the blue wings are a beacon in their own right. A warm smile slips across his lip.]

Tskukikage? I'm here.

[Tall and obvious enough for the ninja to see. Upon hearing his voice, he smiles a little before he walks over, movements delicate and yet confident, somehow avoiding touching anyone else. The man gives a light bow when he gets closer.]

Hello Light... It is good to see you.

[The wings are lovely, but Tsukikage doesn't want to be rude so he avoids mention of it. There are a couple of eyes on it though.]

[After knowing who the wings belong to, it would be hard to lose Light in a crowd again between his height and the four large, thin wings.

Motioning for a seat, Light takes his own.]

It's always nice to see you too, thanks for coming. I know it's a bit sudden to call you to Bavan. When the waitress comes, remember that the drink is on me.

[Even with only two eyes on the wings, they're easy to track for someone who followed details so closely. They give a little flap as he chuckles, even if he actually hates them. It was best to pretend not to.]

We haven't met some my transformation, have we? I became a faerie.

[Very difficult. Unless he got suddenly tiny, it'll be easy to identify him.

Tsukikage climbs onto a stool and folds his legs up, so he can be resting comfortably. The spider's abdomen makes it a little difficult to get comfortable, but he'll manage.]

It sounded important, so I had to come. [He will keep that in mind. Tea is one of his few pleasures he has left. Though he'll have to drink it. Maybe this is a chance to look behind the ninja's mask?]

No, we haven't. However, I guessed as much. Reira-dono was transformed into a faerie for a brief period of time. [He was eaten into becoming a shade] I've never seen someone change into one slowly though. Do you just have the wings now? Or do you also have the second mouth?

...The position is not unfamiliar and for a moment, the fact that it almost mimics L catches him off guard. Nothing shows, and he easily enough shakes it off. It does make sense that a monster based off a spider would have a hard time finding a way to sit. The bar is used to such things, and it's not enough to cause anyone pause.]

It's not urgent, but it is important. I've noticed you and Reira are close, and I'm not here to say that should change. [Light leans forward, eyes on Tsukikage.] But I am worried about your relationship. Both of you seem willing to sacrifice yourself for one another, but that same sacrifice is painful. When I visited your home, Reira was worried. He knew how you felt when he asked for help instead of letting you finish. [The corner of Light's mouth turns down, creating a small frown.] Tsukikage, I want to make sure you know that your worth isn't in your sacrifices, and that Reira can be made happy in other ways. Helping you makes him happy.

[The ninja's faint smile disappears all together as he recognises how serious the issue is, and Light has the attention from all eight eyes. He pauses, digesting the man's words before he sighs and shakes his head.]

Reira-dono.. Seems like every time I try to alleviate that worry, he ends up twice as much so. I wanted to just provide for him enough. I'm not upset that he did help... Just more of the fact that he had to get involved like that.

[He goes quiet as he collects his thoughts. 'your worth isn't in your sacrifices'. Something in those words makes him want to protest, but he's not sure how to. He's never thought of it like that.] I just merely wish the best for him. Sometimes, even if it doesn't make him happy, I'll still do a task. His safety is also entrusted to me... and my track record here is something far from satisfactory.

Because he does end up worrying twice as much. Your intentions are good, and I'm glad he has someone who looks over him, but your focus seems to be on what you can sacrifice for him. You have to realize he worries too. You can related, you feel the same about him. Remember that everything you try to spare him from, he wants to keep hidden from you too. He's a child, I'm not saying to give up your protection, but take care of yourself too. Not just for him, not just for me, but for yourself.

How about a new start? I'll help. You can protect Reira, but also yourself. Consider it a request from a worried friend.

[The man slowly digests the man's words yet again, letting them stew in his head. While it is in his nature to not reveal everything in his hand or on his shoulders, Light is right. Tsukikage has known for some time, Reira has been keeping some things for him, for his own safety too. It's a burdening kindness and care that they have for one another, but going on like this... well... it did need a change. It would only be hurtful in the end.]

Alright... I will think about it. It is easy to say such words, but where even to start.

[Also Light, have you seen Tsukikage's bullshit ninja-magic drinking ability?]

[It's a mistake born of good intentions. It's something Light acknowledges, and intentions and circumstances have always played a role in his judgments as Kira. Neither was trying to hurt the other, but it happened because they were both willing to sacrifice so much. It's especially dangerous because Reira is so young and Tsukikage so willing to die for him.]

Think of ways he can help. I'm not saying to put him in danger, he is still a child. You're off to a good start by letting him handle bits and pieces of the house. Other than that, talk to him and find out what he wants too. Compromising is the most important aspect here.

[He hasn't, but he likely will.]

I try let him do as much as he wants, but a lot of the activities I do... really do not require help of any kind. [He's not teaching the kid how to arson with or without using his cards]. I have been letting him go out and not following him if he doesn't want me to. I've also been letting him walk in the fog...

As tea is served for the men, Tsukikage swipes it and does an age-old anime masking trick, namely being able to drink out of the cup without bringing it to his face, removing his mask, or leaving a drop of tea on that cowl of his]

As for the fog, it really isn't safe for him to be walking around. Monster forms are more exaggerated. I've mentioned as much myself, but he isn't willing to listen. I assume it's the same for you.

[Light sips at his tea as well, though in a more boring, normal fashion.]

I'm not disappointed. Disappointed in myself, maybe, for not doing it without intervention, but not because of him or Mana. [It's complicated.] I will go talk to him later about it. [Because you're not the first to mention it, and now he was really starting to get how worried Reira was about him.]

We know. There's a reason our home is built how it is. [To accommodate the giant spider that shows its face, the one that Light first met.] Reira-dono has been going out into the fog long before I came to Ryslig. His last caretaker knew he would care for himself, as do I. It's too late to change it much.

Besides, there are people who need help during the fog: both newcomers and people suffering from their transformations. It may be dangerous, but neither of us can stay inside.

That sounds like a good idea. There's no reason to extend a misunderstanding. But you shouldn't be disappointed in yourself either. You're a very self-sufficient man, Tsukikage, that's something worthy of pride.

As for Reira's fog wanderings, I may not think it's a good idea, but that's your decision, not mine. I'm more focused on making sure your good intentions don't hurt one another. It sounds like you've already thought it over yourself.

Honestly, Reira-dono is safer in the fog than he is with me or at home. I tend to be very... aggressive during that time. Thank you for respecting our decision.

The house really is nice. How much of it did you do on your own?

Not a lot, I'm afraid. Most of it was just prep work. Securing the land, getting clearance for materials, mapping out the country side and drawing up the plans. I spent a few months on getting that all organised. Then I started excavating the main hall and the main room, but that's it. Frodo and I were planning how to do the extensions before Reira intervened.

[They're not small rooms either. They're all built to at least fit a ten foot spider if it decided to rampage unexpectedly.]

[It isn't that Light wouldn't even understand why someone would be disappointed that they had put months into a situation that likely meant nothing practical once the wish was made. That doesn't make Reira wrong in that this gave them a home faster, but both sides aren't without merit. Not that either is fighting.]

Where did you get your materials from? I don't think I'll be making my own home soon, but I am curious.

Bavan is a big city. There's a proprietor on the east side of town that deals in construction and development. I saved up, went to their warehouse to have the materials ready for me when I did finish up here. I found them during my first couple of months here, when I was really into investigating the city.

I'm trying to imagine now, you being new. It sounds like you took a lot of the same steps I did. I have a roommate right now, though, and I can't imagine building a house.
