If we were sent back against our will like all the others who left, we may not get that choice to take him with us. He may have been left here.

It's not that he thought we'd do it, it's that he thought that he can prevent us from going back to our world. Ron thinks Ryslig is more his home than where he comes from. He wants his family to stay home.

I know he does. And that is unfortunate.

I've told him before I don't want to leave him, but I have warned him before that we may disappear and be taken back home. Perhaps in part this is my fault and he misunderstood me.

The way he understands things is different, to say the least, and some of his growth seems to me like it's been impaired. I don't know his whole story, so I can't say much other than
Ron's grown up very differently to you and me.

Ron wasn't lucky enough to have Reiji-dono to help him, not did he have others in Ryslig aiding his growth like you have been.

I seem to recall a time where you wouldn't didn't trust Reiji-dono not to leave despite him telling you that he wouldn't though.

How he's been brought up, I suppose. When I first brought him in, he told me he would kill me if I ever abandoned him.

I think it's time I do get the bottom to it. I've been negligent with how I've been with him. I should try at least get him to tell me as much as he can about himself.

When I talked to him about that, it was because he thought it was okay to kill mean people.

That was why I told him that was wrong. You can't just kill mean people, that doesn't fix things!
